Finding the right idea for your business can be a tough task, but there are a few things you can do to make your life easier. When you are digging your brain for the next million dollar product or service, here are a few things to consider.

1. Is there a need, or a niche?
Whatever your idea, you should determine the market and audience it would serve. Does your idea compete with another company? Find an area thats being underserved, and fill it. Do your research, does your idea represent a real market for you?

2. Do something you love
When considering your business idea, you should consider something that you enjoy. That is, you should consider an idea that you will not grow bored with. A start up is a lot of work, and you cant be giving up or growing tired of what you are doing. Whatever you choose it should be something that you can see yourself devoting a lot of time and energy to.

3.Think about your finances
Whatever you choose you should consider the investment you will need to make financially, and the realistic potential for returns. Do you need to raise money to fund your startup? Do you need a business loan? Do you qualify for a business loan? Take all these things into consideration when debating your business idea.

These three things alone can help you decide if your idea is right for a business, and more importantly, is the idea right for you.
